Swift and Serene Saturday
After visiting the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, we trekked back through the pines toward the paddy fields, always on the lookout for birds.
We could hear them, but they were not easy to spot in the trees.
I wouldn’t usually share such poor photos, but these were the best I got of this super-zippy Black-throated Tit.
It remained mostly hidden and only popped in for a few seconds, but I wanted to show you its striking plumage.
Can you spot the hitchhiker?!
Back down at the fields,
the cows had returned to their paddock, and this sweet calf nursed. Oh, that light in those dark eyes.
