A correction that led to curiosity

Yesterday, I posted this photo on top of Blueberry Mountain in western N.H. and said that the iron peg was left over from a tower used by the U.S. Coastal Survey.

I stand corrected!

A friend wrote to say that it is not Coastal, but Coast. The typo was in the reference book I used and I didn’t know the difference.

Now I do.
